Machine and Equipment Wiring

Equipment Wiring

Offering machine equipment wiring and installation ensuring that machinery operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with electrical codes and regulations.

  • We work with engineers and other professionals to design the electrical systems needed for the installation of machine equipment. This includes planning the layout, determining power requirements, and specifying appropriate components.

  • Plan and install the power distribution system to supply electricity to the machine equipment. This involves sizing conductors, selecting circuit protection devices (such as circuit breakers), and ensuring proper voltage levels.

  • Wire the control panels and devices that govern the operation of the machine equipment. This includes connecting sensors, actuators, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), human-machine interfaces (HMIs), and other control components.

  • Organize and manage cables effectively to prevent interference, tangling, and ensure easy access for maintenance. This includes using cable trays, conduits, and other appropriate cable management solutions.

  • Implement proper grounding techniques to ensure electrical safety. This includes grounding the machine frame, individual components, and providing a pathway for fault currents

  • Implement safety measures in accordance with electrical codes and standards. This may involve installing emergency stop buttons, safety interlocks, and other safety devices to protect operators and other personnel.

  • Install instrumentation devices such as sensors, transmitters, and meters necessary for monitoring and controlling the machine equipment.

  • Wire and connect electric motors to the power supply and control systems. This includes ensuring correct motor rotation, sizing motor conductors, and implementing motor control strategies.

  • Conduct thorough testing of the electrical systems to ensure proper functionality and compliance with specifications. This includes testing individual components, as well as the entire integrated system.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues that may arise during the installation or operation of the machine equipment. Identify and rectify faults to ensure optimal performance

  • Maintain detailed documentation of the machine equipment wiring and installation. This includes as-built drawings, wiring diagrams, equipment manuals, and any modifications made during the process

  • Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with relevant electrical codes, regulations, and industry standards. This may involve obtaining permits and coordinating with local ESA authorities for inspections.

  • Provide training for operators and maintenance personnel on the proper use and maintenance of the electrical systems associated with the machine equipment. Offer ongoing support as needed.
